    2008 Honda cooling problem

    BF9.9D. Engine runs at idle but after shifting into gear and running up RPMs a bit, engine stutters and then dies. Pee stream is cool to the touch at first, but when engine stutters, the water stream is blazing hot. Black soot-like flakes floating on water surface. Not good, but what is it?
