    Water pump oil seals in '64 Mercury 110 9.8 hp

    I have a 1964 Mercury 110 9.8 hp motor. I'm replacing the impeller, and a mechanic suggested replacing the 2 oil seals on the water pump since I have it apart. According to my Clymer manual, it appears that these seals have probably been loctited. They don't want to come out. They actually look...
