    HELP - Water in Lower Unit (1999 70hp 4-Stroke)

    Hey guys I checked my gear lube recently and found it to thoroughly milky. I drained everything and had it pressure/vacuum tested. Everything passed with flying colors. I then checked the prop shaft and its straight. Does anyone have suggestions as to where I could be getting water in at? Thanks

    Reseal Lower Unit Help (Prop Shaft Seals)

    Hey, I have a 2000 Evinrude 70HP 4 Stroke. I notice some water in the oil when I drained it so I am looking to reseal the lower unit. MY specific question comes at the prop shaft seals. Does anyone know the correct direction these are supposed to be placed? I've seen a number of videos online...

    Flywheel Reassemble

    Hey guys I have a 1985 75hp ELPT that recently had to replace the trigger on. I am working on reassembling the flywheel. How important is it to secure the flywheel nut with a torque wrench and does anyone have the specs for my model? Thanks in advance

    Hey I recently purchased a 1986 75hp Mercury. The serial number is A169385 but I can't find the model number anywhere with that serial number. I need to buy some parts and want to make sure I get the right ones. Thanks
