    "I have a 1987 Evinrude 88SPL "I have a 1987 Evinrude 88SPL ..It runs well at about half throttle when I excede that the over heat alarm sounds off. I have talked with marine mechanics and they say that they don't know what the the problem is because the water pump appears to be working fine...
