    Pull the shift cable bellow, and knock the plastic cable bushing out of the transom assembly..... The cable will then fit through.... Bushing is not needed......

    2 plug 555 controllers are batch fired... 3 and 3..... on a V6.

    The three plug controller like a 496 has, is sequentially fired....

    I would check all battery connections including the battery switches.... And the Hub Power connection.

    Well you will bring the pistons to TDC of the compression stroke in each cylinder with a breaker bar and a 5/8 socket........ and hold it there while you test.

    I guess you never did a leak down...

    This happens when there is a compression leak between cylinders or a cracked head. Check the head gasket, Pull all the plugs and pump air in each cylinder, you will find the leak.

    Do not adjust the shift switch.

    Find a bolt to fit the hole... It should drop in, cover it with RTV and push it in. Let it cure for a day.

    Its what is left of the rubber exhaust flapper... It was in the exhaust pipe.

    There is only one regulator..... Read my post above....


    If the shop did the gen3 cooler repair, you may have gotten a complete cooler or you may have gotten all the parts minus the pumps...

    Follow the linkage under the front of the power head..... Move the linkage by hand an see what is broken/worn/missing....

    If the shift shaft moves from side to side it will cause this issue.

    Your mechanic is correct, the impeller will right itself....

    Change the impeller.... Hard to run this on a hose.....

    If it is coming from inside the bell housing.....Pull the engine..... Then you can look for all the leaks.

    The regulator on the fuel rail does nothing. It is dead ended.... Mercruiser does not use a return fuel line. The only regulator on a Bravo is on top of the Gen3 Cooler.... Is this the one you...

    If you have a bravo drive you have a gen 3 cooler.... Pull the cooler remove the lid and you can separate the pumps to test.

    Put a vacuum gauge on the fuel inlet, power up the cooler with jumpers...

    Your engine is not a MEFI...It is a Motorola 555 ECM.....


    Check the regulator.......
