Problem with Mecury 2015 60 HP EFI. Here is my issue.
I have a Mercury 2015 60 HP EFI. Low hours. Bought it used and has never run right.
When I start it I get 6 beeps. When under load in water I only get 3500 rpm and boat will not get on plane. Out of water, 6000 rpm no problem.
Here is what I have tried.
Resetting by using the lanyard switch 6– 10 times.
*Resetting the computer by disconnecting the battery and discharging all power.
*New voltage regulator.
*Map sensor 28074366
*High Pressure fuel pump 892267a51 with regulator, cleaned out sump and screens.
*Solenoid valve k5t48471
*New spark plugs Ra8hc
*New fuel filters.
*New fuel. Drained tank and replaced with new gas.
I believe that the previous owner was messing with the linkage on the gearshift, throttle position. I have tried everything. And links to set throttle to right position would be appreciated. All the information I can find involves hooking it up to a diagnostic laptop.
Could it be Throttle Position Sensor ? 881070T
Could it be low pressure fuel pump ?
Could it be injectors ? Seafoam ?
Could it be coil packs? I removed all old spark plugs and they all looked the same. All in good condition.
Is there a aftermarket way to hookup my laptop and read , reset, the codes for a couple hundred bucks ?
I'm in Crystal river Florida and to take it in would be thousands. I went one place, two month wait with an open checkbook.
Any help would be appreciated. Any Links would be appreciated.
