Crusader 8.1L (HO) will not come up in temp. Good water flow. Goes into alarm 1 min after start.

If you can have the motor scanned for codes it would identify real fast

It could be the drive lube, low oil pressure or Temp. There are 2 wires on the bottom of the drive lube bottle, remove one or both to see if alarm stops.

Your Temp and low oil pressure switches work the same way. The Temp will be near the thermostat and there will be 2 sensors. The single wire one goes to the gauge and does not sound an alarm. Same with oil pressure

When i said the temp does not come up, I'm reading it off the temp gauge. Guage does not move at all. I will reach out to a Crusader dealer locally and have a scan done on the engine to get a better idea of what's happening. I have read a couple articles regarding checking the thermostat in the cooling system. Not sure if that would be relevant or not.

Get an IR temp gun and with the engine running take temp readings on the part of the intake manifold that the thermostat housing bolts on to (right under the front of the 'stat housing) that area usually is close to the actual running temp you'll see on the temp gauge. For example my engine has a 160* stat and it runs at about that temp on the gauge, with the IR Temp gun reading the temp on the intake manifold right under the stat housing it runs at 145-150*.
Your stat could be stuck open and then it will take forever to warm up, or the sensor failed and you're getting the alarm because of that.
You'd have to be familiar with the Crusader alarm system though to know what's the likely cause.

You have an alarm, as previously mentioned there are 3 things that can cause it. The motor can be cold and if the Temp switch goes bad and stays closed the alarm still sounds off. I don't think it's the Temp that "is" causing the alarm, I think it's the lube bottle.

I don't know if you have a I/O or inboard, if you have an I/O just pull the wires off the bottle if it's there. If you have an inboard it could be the Temp switch on the transmission
