I have a 93 20hp Evinrude ecrets asbest I can tell since the manufacturer tag is partially damaged.
The motor sat up for quite a few years and was given to me .
I put in a new water pump rebuild changed the oil in the lower unit rebuilt the carb etc.
I want to check the timing on it but cannot find a timing pointer to begin the process of doing so.
There is an empty bolt hole near the back of the flywheel that has no paint in it or around it but have not been able to determine what was there.
