This engine has 120 pounds of compression in both upper and lower cylinders. I’ve replaced the fuel pump with a new pulse fuel pump. I’ve gone through the carburetor, checked all the reeds. I have spark that is 3/8” both spark plugs.
This engine has a single coil with two wires coming off of it. I’ve switched plugs and plug wires and it always runs on the top cylinder but no fire in the lower cylinder. Both spark plugs are good. To pressure test the engine I made a blockout plate that covers both of the intakes and have a fitting over the pulse outlet to pump pressure into the block.
I’ve sprayed soapy water around the blockout plate and have no air leaks but I cannnot build any pressure. Does this point to a lower seal being bad since I have no fire or ability to pressurize the block? Need help!!!
