1976 Searay 200SC OMC stringer upper gears

I just acquired this boat extremely low hours and one of the nicest 1976 boats I’ve seen. Unfortunately I was only on the water for about 10 minutes and wiped out the upper gears.

I had a mechanic in my hometown look at this and go through everything. I specifically asked if I needed to change the outdrive gear oils and he said it was all good to go and come to find out the upper gear oil was never even checked. It was extremely low and milky.

I just disassembled to the point where the upper is sitting on the bench and I can see the main Pinion gear is completely stripped out

I really could use a schematic image and also any suggestions on where I can find Parts

1st mistake was to try to find a mechanic to service it. Was he 60 years old? If not then yours was probably the 1st Fossil Drive he ever touched.

Look on this site for parts. You don't say what engine/drive model number you have. Look it up by model number. May be a 75 model, 77 model as engine & boat model years don't change on the same day.
