I have a 87 Yamaha 115, when it’s cold it will not start with out ether period. Once it starts it will run all day long and start back up in matter of seconds but once cold again it doesn’t start. Any ideas? it has good compression carbs are clean and properly adjusted good fuel (pump 93) ball pump is new as well.

Battery is good and load tested, it passed choke system is working. Both electric and manual, unsure if there is a proper adjustment for them? But they are both about 90°

Unsure on how to test is it’s jumping a gap of 3/8, but it’s getting strong spark with B8HS-10 and a gap of .04 in. Is there anywhere I could find the spec on what do adjust the choke system too? Or how to test if it’s getting 3/8 of a spark jump? Thank you

okay thank you I will look at that, it has a manual lever on the motor with a “choke” symbol, im probably just using the wrong words. As well as an electric one below the key.
