your location >-----Find the ---aomci---Post a " wanted " ad on there .----Likely a member around the corner who is an expert on the wonderful tanks.----What is the issue with your tank now ?

Mt. Pleasant Mi
I rebuilt it last year it leaked this year took it apart now it wont build press.
Im done messing with it ill gladly pay someone a fair price to do it for me.

Just to be sure----The primer on the tank pumps fuel into the carburetor.---When motor starts it quickly put air pressure ( crankcase compression ) into the tank.----Cap must be closed to run.

To be clear; is it not filling the carburetor when you push on the primer plunger several times or until it closes off the needle valve or when you start the motor, it won't stay running from lack of pressure?

Ya know after rebuilding it, it worked fine however it leaked so I took it apart put it back together it didnt really seem to build press that well.
I got flustered and am looking for someone who lnows what there doing and have them rebuild it.
Ive only started to get into these old outboards a few years ago.

Is it a 4 or 6 gallon tank? Needs to hold 9 psi. Beautiful system, no way water can leak in. Motor burns fumes too, instead of venting to outside air. They are not difficult to rebuild.
