YAMAHA 30DMHO 6J8 CARBURETTOR AIR METERING JET

Hello , long story short a guy lost one of the air metering screw jets that sit on top of the carb under a metal plate , part is 100% not listed by yamaha and im wondering if anyone had the same problem and found a jet replacement even if it was not OEM
i will also provide reddit post with pictures of it and where it sits (its seated in the hole next to the one marked with M) if anyone has a solution that requires all the other AIR METERING jets to be replaced go ahead and tell me

Looks to be a circa 2006 model year motor.

Is this the top carburetor, the middle carburetor or the bottom carburetor? Which may or may not matter.
 
If the jet in question was under a plug that had to be extracted from the carburetor body by the removal of a plug then it is considered part of the carburetor body and not a spare part.

You might try www.jetsrus.com to see if they can find the part that you need, based upon them being sent a clear and up close photo of the part that is needed.

Interesting. My Yamaha book of knowledge indicates that 6J8K serial number 1006952 is a 2006 production year motor. See below.

The US equivalent (a 30MLH model) depicts two plugs being used underneath the cover plate.




 
it looks identical maybe in europe they produced it earlier and stopped earlier who knows , under those plugs though sit the jets im looking for and they are considered body of the carb and they dont list it , i was looking for knowledge very few people have and they probably dont share it tbh
 
I would suspect only one in a billion have ever had an issue with whatever it is that you are looking for.

Service manual makes no mention of any air metering jets on the top of the carburetor.


 
i was busy all day and its too late for me here, will do tomorrow and if i get any answers on jets will update here so people can see , thanks for your effort brother who knows they might have the answer
