1986 60 Johnson power down/creamy oil

Hey everyone I’m new to owning a boat and I just had a question/concern about my 1986 60 Johnson.
I just bought it last summer and had issues with it bogging down shutting off after a half hour and wouldn’t turn on again. I changed the leg oil before winter and it was pretty creamy, changed it again recently to make sure it was all flushed out and it was creamy again so I’m currently stumped on where to begin. Thanks!
 
Did you install a new water pump impeller?----Post the actual compression values here.----Does spark jump a gap of 3/8" on each lead.----If motor is in good condition a complete seal kit for the gearcase is in order.

I have not I was wondering if that had to do with it possibly. I’ll have to get a compression tester and figure that out!
 
When you but a used motor it is a " golden rule " to install a new impeller.----And a new one every 5 years.----Failiong to do so has cost folks many $$$ and grief
