2002 mercury 150 2 stroke

Hi i have a mercury 150 2 stroke xr6 I rebuilt the carburetors because when i try to go on plane the motor hessites for 2 sec then takes off and runs fine but it is still doing it after the rebuild, could it be out of time or could the floats not be set right the motor has low hrs less then 300 hrs

This is the section of the manual you need. Needs to be done anytime you take the carbs off.

sorry muc it's been a while I took it a machinic and he didn't fix it it has been link and sink and put new gas in the tank had the auto oiler cleaned and flushed and it still hessites when trying to get on plane the only thing i can think of is do i have a bad reed valve

Open low speed mixture screws 1/8th turn at a time and test run.

racerone I started at the 1 1/4 turns out on the carbs and went in 1/8' turn until 1 1/2 and it didn't change could i have a bad reed valve

Remove carburetors and inspect the reeds.

racerone I have the mixture screws backed out to 1-3/4 turns out getting better but now at wot it seems like its missing al little could i have bad gas but it doesn't do it when the mixture screws are 1-1/2 turns out but that's where it hessites at its better at the 1-3/4 turns out but just seems to miss a little at wot
