I cant find my serial number in the Mercury parts catalog

The serial number is 6221053. I know it is made between 1981-1982 V6 electric start. 150 2 stroke. Attached is a photo of the transom serial number.

On the mercury parts catalog under serial look up. I am trying to get some parts for my engine. I just want to get the right ones.
 
Recently purchased a mercury outboard which is quite vintage and the serial number has rubbed off however found a number in side rhe cowl being D064596..can anybody shed light on this

Only thing that comes near is a mercury xr10
.however mine has a fixed choke and no.adjustment for idle and my gear are a arm on the side
Unlike the xr10 which has gears on the tiller arm...

If anyone can help id be eternally grateful ..many thanks. Tim
 
What does a fixed choke mean? Not making sense to me. I can't imagine any motor running with the choke on all of the time.

Try putting the number 0 before the D and see what comes up. Several models with different tiller arms are shown.

 
I have a mid 90's Mercury outboard with serial number 0G092478 and need carb ans fuel diaphragm kits. Can you provide correct pat numbers for both please
