Was time for a new prop so i installed a quicksilver 13x19 3 blade from a 4 blade 13x17 spitfire Just did a good service on it as well lower unit oil , inline fuel filter , oil change . Took the fam out today but before i picked then up i went for a cruise the river was stupid low and in a spot thats ive never had a issue with i hit and boom i was high centered i was able to reverse out and turn around amd move on with my day. I didnt notice any obvious noise or issues until heading back to the boat ramp and it sounded kind of like a jet engine , no rattle and clanking just that roaring sound verry noticable low speed low rpm but stayed a tad lower pitch on plane. Prop took a little sand blasting but nothing that to the eye lookes like it did any damage. It does have some slight shaft end play but it always has since purchase. I am going to remove the prop and inspect the brand new hub and see if it spun.
Any imput would be awsome i am terrified that i may find a bent prop shaft upon inspection!
