Wiring help on a 2013 Mercury 25hp 3cyl., 4 stroke EFI Outboard.

Hey there,

I was gifted a 2013 Sun Chaser 818 FISH pontoon from my mother in-law. It was in poor cosmetic shape when I received it. I've since had it for 2 years and this spring I decided to update the pontoons wiring as it was all oxidized even after cutting some wires back by as much as 12 inches.

I've updated to a dual battery set up (current diagram set-up attached), and installed Bluesea's Mini-Add a Battery kit.
I'm now trying to confirm I have connected the pontoon's ignition to the battery set up correctly and need guidance.

The manufacture (Sun Chaser) had all forward and aft (16g &14g) wiring spliced into a pair of Red with Purple Stripe 10AWG that is protected by a 20A circuit beaker. The starter relay witer (Yellow with Red stripe), is also connected to the battery's positive post with an in-line 20amp fuse.

My question is this: The Red wire with Purple stripe is now just a red wire. All accessories, NAV & Anchor lights, live well pump all connect to a bluesea fuse pannel. However, i am stumpped with the ignition connections and I can only find diagrams showing larger Mercury outboards. Nothing for the 25hp regarding how to properly power the ignition to the new wire layout.

Would anyone be able to share their knowledge to assist with connecting the boat's keyed ignition to power? I have some actual photos of the old wire harnesses, but not certain what detail would help without causing any additional confusion with my request. I will add a picture of the original wires that connected to the battery prior to the mini-add-a-battery change

Thank you.
Joe

Here is the additional picture that did not attach which shows the two Red with Purple stripe and the 20amp circuit breaker that connects to the battery, and the starter relay with in-line fuse also connecting to the positive post of the battery.

Thanks,
Joe

I'll try to be more precise with my question, as I am getting views but no response yet.

First picture is showing the three wire power relay harness with alarm - Those three wires are 1) Tan with Blue stripe, 2) Purple, and 3) Purple w/Red stripe. The Purple wire with Red stripe is what I need to confirm where it connects to. The Tan w/Blue stripe appears to be a ground and the Purple appears to be the positive for the alarm (also in picture).

The second picture shows the back of the ignition, the wire in question continues into the ignition, but the color of the wire was changed from its entry color of Purple wire w/Red stripe, to Purple with White stripe and going directly into the ignition.

My question - What do I connect the purple with red strip wire to? The fuse panel?

Thanks,
Joe
