Hi. Started the motor for the first time this season, all good except I noticed water coming out of the bottom of the fuel module. After using my fingers to try and detect where the water was coming from and using a mirror and my phone for pictures, I determined the leak was coming from the housing. Did my research and removed the entire unit. Yup! found a crack in the bottom of the housing. My boat is a 2007 Crownline with a Mercruiser 350 Mag MPI 5.7L. Engine serial number "1A041321". Can some one help me identify the correct replacement module for the unit?

Here’s your engine parts,

Your cool fuel module item number 1,

And some info to help find another one,

fyi when replacing the module with the new one, the hoses that cool it will not be long enough to connect to thenew barbed fittings so you will need a length of 1/2" heater hose and 2 connectors.

I have the same problem and have not been able to locate one anywhere. I saw there might be a replacement part 8M0047215 but it is $1,792 ! And not sure it is the right part? Seem crazy that there are thousands of these motors out there and it is a discontinued part.

the link boat tech listed shows the different revised kits. they discontinued the one you have becuse of a problem with the cooling ability. they revised the module. you can cross reference your modul based on the serial # of your engine .. once you have that part #, you can find the correct revised module and yes, they will cost $1700.oo

Thank you, I have been trying to cross reference but haven't found the exact. I will doeg deeper now that you shared that. Thanks again

per the service bulletin you need
Replacement kits Complete Gen III module with pumps and filter 8M0047215

if you have 3 hoses coming from the supply hose coming out of the supply hose, you also need
Three bib hose kit 865208T02

good news is that the new pump kit has a drain plug that is actually accesible,

you can also get just the housing and transfer the parts inside . that kit is
Lower Gen III module housing (no pumps or filter) 8M0047216
