I have an Evinrude Model F and am looking for any info people may have on it. I'm away from home, and can't verify exact model#. If you talk nice to her she'll run, but could use a little freshening up.
Everything works, even the lightbulb above the controls. The cast metal cover on the carb is still around, but I fabricated a new one without cracks. Some of the cooling lines had been replaced with copper tubing, and a few fasteners/pins have been replaced. Other than that it's pretty original, including some wild twin ground spark plugs.
I'd appreciate any info folks might have on it. Any chance there are specs out there for it? What might it be worth? Should it be in the Smithsonian?
