1974 chrysler 105 trim manual release

How do I get the manual release to work on the trim. I can't upload a photo otherwise i would. It's first got a snap ring over it than it's a completely flat plate that I have no clue how to get out. I've looked all over the internet and in forums. Please help.
 
NO manual release.
Undo the front line, be careful it's under a lot of pressure when running.
There's nothing in the pump itself that you can fix.
The bottom of the pump has 2 rubber seals that can leak.
You need to find a parts diagram for that pump.
