    vent screw turning on air

    i decide today to change gear oil in 9.9 mercury 1987 i think ,, turned the vent screw, and it just kept turning on air, i can't take it out .. i can't tightened i attached a video aswell, any idea of how to take it out ? i loosed the lower unit, maybe i could get it from inside, but it got more...
