    Mercury 50hp Blueband pull starter

    Hi, I have a merc 50 and after last start the pull cord dosnt retract.I live in NZ and these are hard to get parts for. motor runs fine otherwise.Is it worth opening the assembly to get to the spring? Ideally i would like to get a complete pull unit. cheers.
