    25HP Mercury BigFoot 2001 overheating even after replacing impeller with kit and removing thermostat

    I had a similar problem with the motor going into limp mode .Turns out it wasn't a overheating problem but a faulty oil pressure sensor which told the motor that the pressure was much lower than it was .A easy fix but a hard one to diagnose
