    Merc 225 firing order

    I changed cap and wires on for I changed cap and wires on ford 302. Thought I followed correct order but motor has no power above idle and back fires through carb. Where can I find the firing order. Motor is aprox 1972. Firing order on manifold has been ground off ( from auto?). Thanks Jeff
