    check engine light staying on 2001 4 stroke 40 hp model #E40PL4SI

    Was working on decoys at idle and accidently pulled the kill switch. Put it back and the motor started but the initial beep continued for a couple minutes. Though it was warm ?? I restarted and the normal beep returned and silenced as normal. Heading back to ramp all is good minus the indicator...
