    So maybe this will help others, I found the “pin out on the harness shield Dark Green is Starter Solenoid The Red n black are freebies Since White is in the same circuit as the light green that is the oil sensor Brown is in the same square as the starter so I am going to guess it’s the on switch...

    So here is my problem I have been trying to figure out how to rewire this plug, my understanding is that Tahatsu was building these motors for Merc at the time but this plug is not the standard 8 pin plug used on mercury… Furthermore the color code doesn’t match up Does anyone have a pin out...
