    2015 df140a trim limit set

In my service manual the down limit is discussed first then the up limit. It doesn’t say do the down first but the down procedure is before the up limit.

    DF115 Temperature Light-No Alarm

From my 2009 DF90A service manual. Checking the 2 temperature sensors is fairly easy. If both sensors check out then your issue could be in the wiring harness somewhere.

    DF115 Temperature Light-No Alarm

Prior to the temperature light illumination did the Caution System work properly? The Caution System should, key on, not started, illuminate the temperature, overrev, oil and check engine light for 2 seconds accompanied by the buzzer. This is a self check. When was the last time the water...

    2015 df140a trim limit set

I believe the trim is controlled via the ECM. Wondering if it’s a wiring issue? Check the wiring harness plugs for a good clean connection. A wiring schematic would help tracing wires, that would require an original service manual. Those ECM are pretty robust, I doubt that would be the issue.

    2015 df140a trim limit set

If you’re following the owners manual instructions and it’s not working then I don’t know what else it could be.

Have you checked the trim sensor. On older Suzuki’s I’ve read that they can move and get out of alignment. Not sure about the newer models.

    BF100A over heat alarm issue

What if your water pump isn’t 100%, say the base plate or the cup is slightly warped or out of round? At idle you don’t have enough revs. to push enough water thru the water pump due to a weakness somewhere in the pump assembly. At higher revs. the volume is enough to overcome any issues with...

    DT4 tell tale inconsistent

With the engine running at idle try shoving some weed wacker line up into the telltale discharge. Maybe some debris clogging the discharge? If that doesn’t help… I’d suggest you replace the entire water pump with an OEM kit. You don’t give a year but a water pump kit for an 1989 engine is $20...

    DT75 powerhead compatibility

Forgot to mention, Suzuki doesn’t offer much for 2 cycle parts in North America, yet they still manufacture and sell 2 cycle engines overseas so you might have to expand your search overseas.

    DT75 powerhead compatibility

Your part number doesn’t find a match on boats.net website. Go to boats.net website, find your part/parts, select the part and scroll down to the “diagrams” section. There you will find a list of Suzuki engines that use the same part. Handy feature when looking for old compatible parts.

BF 9.9 Dies soon after starting

See Post #2. Bad/old fuel? Water in the fuel? I know with my ATV (Honda) old fuel will act like you’re describing. Starts and idles good, put it into gear and try moving it falls flat on its face. I don’t think the tiller model has an overheating alarm, only low oil pressure. To confirm...
