    "I have a Mariner 28 hp outboa "I have a Mariner 28 hp outboard, the only numbers I can find on it are on the mount where it mounts to the boat. Ther are two plates, the 1st reads [Mariner 28E, 664 S 25885] the 2nd reads [Inspected by Japanese Government]. Can anyone tell me what year model...
