    Looking for year/info about my Mariner 40 HP. Tag reads, Mariner 40E 6E9 L 40430

    So, I have the same model as the above poster. However, mine is a 40E 6E9 S 103597. Why is info on these old motors not more readily available online!? Any derived from that plate number would be greatly appreciated…
