    Battery is charging after changing the voltage regulator, but tach is still not moving. If you crank it tach hand moves backward a hair but that's it. Any suggestions?

    Last week tach quit working all of the sudden. Then I noticed some of the wires from voltage rectifier were burnt. Replaced voltage regulator and replaced wires. Installed new battery. Thought problems should have been solved. No such luck. Tach still not working at all. Not completely certain...
