I think everything is hooked up correctly as it ran the year before the only thing that changed is that a negative cable touched the positive post. It was not a factory replacement starter or solenoid. And it was cranking fine prior to the incident
Bought a boat last year and put it in the water and everything worked fine. When trying to start it this year I noticed that a negative battery cable was loose and it accidentally touched the positive side. Now the starter spins but will not engage. I did not think that it was a fuse seeing...
