    Converting from remote to tiller steering? 1986 30 hp

    My 1986 30hp Mariner is set up for remote steering and for that reason it doesn't seem to want to sell. Everyone wants tiller steering. Where could I find a tiller handle with throttle etc... to fit it? Thanks guys.

    Can I get away with swapping 30 hp decals for 1985 9.9hp?

    I was wondering if I swapped the 30 hp decals on my '85 Mariner outboard for 9.9 decals if I could get by with it when the game warden checks me. There is also a small plate on the outer housing of the shaft listing the hp etc...that would have to come off. What do you think guys?
