    How to set shift rod on Mariner 8hp 2 stroke (8M 6GI SN 030340)?

    I'm not quite sure how to properly set the shift rod clamp height on my 2 stroke Mariner 8hp 8M 6G1 S/N 030340. I've tightened the clamp a few times and not quite got the shift positions right. It's a tight spot to get a wrench in, and a pain to work with both the clamp bolt and lock nut as well...
