    Need help with year of Mariner motor?

    :confused: Wife got my son and I a Boat for Christmas and it has a Mariner 40 hp on it. I need to do some minor repairs but I need to know what the year is. The tag say's 40 LL (Might be EL?) see attachment 6E9 L 415379 Thanks for any light you can shed on this.
