    Would oil check valve cause excessive oil to come out of carbs.?

    If u cap off oil pump, make sure u take shaft out of pump, with no oil coming in shaft will freeze up, runes off cam shaft. Good luck!

    If u cap off oil pump , make sure u take shaft out of pump , with no lube or will freeze up motor , because it runs off cam shaft. 1999 mercury 60hp, great motor
