    What is this switch ?

    Hi, I recently acquired and old aluminium boat with a Yamaha 40HP 2 stoke. I believe it's a 1993 model. I notice this little switch on the side of the tilt trim. It has wires (red and black) attached. Would anyone know what this is for ? Thank you!
