    Nope that was free as could be. Lubed the shaft and ultrathin mylar washers both sides and didn't torque that pivot bolt much at all. Played around with everything before I went my nuclear option. Frankly not sure why merc has so much slop before spring legs even think about engaging posts. Boat...

    I accessed the spring legs by removing 9/16 pivot bolt. You don’t really need to remove cable end as lever can rotate to get access. Adjust gently don’t be an animal. It took a few tries to get it dialed in.
