    15 HP Mercury Tilt Problems

    I always trailer it with the lower unit down, not on a higher tilt setting. I took the motor off the boat and did see two teeth broken off of the tilt bracket. I have ordered tilt bracket replacement parts. I am not sure this was the problem, but it looked like it could be the cause.

    15 HP Mercury Tilt Problems

    I put the motor in forward and try to tilt the motor up and it will not tilt. This is a 2004, 2 stroke, 15HP Merc. It has been tilting just fine up until last week. What needs to be done to get it to tilt again.
