    2003 225 4 stroke gas in oil

    I have a strong gas smell in m I have a strong gas smell in my oil. My mechanic told me he had heard that the fuel pump would not work properly if high speed rpm of 6000 was not reached. I have factory prop. He suggested a next size smaller prop. Has anybody heard anything about this?
