    1996 150 HP Johnson Fast Strike will not go into gear.

    The motor will start fine but when put into forward or reverse it will not engage. The mechanisms move in the case. Also when I put it in gear the prop will turn and tightens up but not engage in to gear. I have no idea what the problem could be with out taking it to the shop. But that is...
