    Reserve 100% oil remaining

    I have a Mercury 2004 150xl hp When I run the motor I get message Reserve 100% oil remaining. It also reduce capacity to 20% Why is this? I understand if it alarms when there is oil missing but when it is 100% I have full oil in the oil tank in the engine and half in the external oil tank.
