    I have a VP 300hp 454 block th I have a VP 300hp 454 block that's raw water cooled - can i run a garden hose to a through hull fitting and then start the engine to be sure everythings OK before launch? - I've always had outboards so I'm new to these engines - Also - do i need to put earmuffs...

    4200 rpm to 3200 rpm

    cruising along at 4200 rpm - e cruising along at 4200 rpm - engine instantly went from 4200rpm to 3200 rpm - lost plane and limped back to dock - engine then hard to start and noticed smoking more than usual - not sure where to start looking - electrical or fuel related - thanks fo0r any help - tom

    Fuel pouring out of carbbs

    i started my 1992 - 200 hp yam i started my 1992 - 200 hp yamaha and fuel began pouring out of the front of the bottom 2 carbs - what would cause this?
