    Impellar change

    I have a 2006 yamaha 8 hp.that I am putting a new impellar in I've removed the 4 nuts on lower unit and disconnected the shift linkage but I can't get the lower unit to drop down, I've pulled,twisted and even hit with a rubber mallet but can't get it to drop any suggestions
