    Had an extra gasket that came in the kit that was not on carb originally that I installed. Took this off and running great now.

    2000 mercury 15hp 2 stroke high rev after carb rebuild.

    I just rebuilt the carburetor and when I go to start it the first time in neutral it is at an extremely high rev to the point of having to kill it immediately. I’m not sure what I did wrong on the rebuild or if I missed something. Any ideas to help me out?
