    3.0 mercruiser engine

    I recently acquired an older boat (80s) it has the 3.0 4cyl engine. #3 cyl has very little compression. my question, looking price wise and Horse power, should I rebuild the 3.0 or go with a larger engine for not much more cost? and how difficult would it be to swap
