    I know the exhaust is under water at the lake but i thought if it ran good in a barrell it would do the same at the lake but NO!

    So i have a 1975 70hp evinrude that runs like a new motor with muffs and in a barrel of water but the last two attempts to go fishing my motor idles in the lake but dies as soon as i throttle up to leave WTH ?
