    Mercury 9.8 outboard questions

    I recently purchased a mercury 9.8. Honestly I'm clueless. What type of battery and fuel do they use? It needs a water pump. Hopefully that is all but we will see. I figured if it was worthless I'm only losing the 200 I bought it for.
