    Thanks! I agree after reading the different reviews. Yes the flaps have the rubber on them. They just don't spring out against the pipe. Didn't know if they should or not.

    Thank you! I have spent some time poking around the web and found a lot of info after asking the question on here. My exhaust flappers are intact but don't seal tight against the wall of the wye pipe. It has about a half inch ether side. Should it seal against the pipe or have a gap?
