    69 9.5 johnson. When pulling lower unit water tube came along with it. Suggestions on reinstalling to upper end.

    1969 9.5hp johnson. When I dropped lower unit to replace water pump impeller the shaft stayed in powerhead. How do I 1) get shaft to come out and 2) if it doesnt can I reverse engineer the pump and gear casing elements back together from the bottom.

    Lower unit will not come off

    I have a 1978 mercury 200 20hp. I have removed all the nuts to get lower unit to drop but it seems stuck on forward end. I want to replace water pump but dont want to break anything getting to it. Any suggestions. Yes I have removed zinc plate.

    1969 9.5 johnson only one cylinder has spark

    I have a 9.5 johnson 9r-69s. I have spark in upper cylinder but not lower one. I recently changed both coils both points and condensers and new j6c plugs. Verified kill switch is not shorted out and that timing and gaps both good plug wire good. What am I missing? Help me I'm at wits end.
